Forty-four (44) faculty members of Jacobo Z. Gonzales Memorial National High School participated in the Teaching Demonstration Festival held on June 2 - 3, 2022. Demonstration teachers showcased their teaching strategies in response to challenges and implementation of the K- to-12 Basic Education Program and its principles. The said event also provided opportunities for teachers’ continuous professional growth and passion for teaching in response to the new normal setup.
The selected teachers in all subject areas exhibited their teaching practices and approaches. Mr. Oliver P. Caliwag, school head, and Mr. Erwin P. Legasto, PSDS District VI, recognized the efforts of the Demonstration Teachers. Likewise, the Education Program Supervisors of the Schools Division of Biñan City were present to provide technical assistance and make suggestions for instructional teaching practices.
Mr. Erwin P. Legasto, who initiated the demonstration festival, in his message said with honor that he was sharing the joy of the concluded 2022 Demonstration Teaching Festival. He also saluted everyone and added that the demonstration teachers were given positive statements and comments by the Education Program Supervisors and that the teachers were seen with readiness and skills in teaching. He also thanked the demonstration teachers for accepting the challenge. The demonstration teachers were also happy with what they accomplished.
