Aspiring Leaders for SY 2022-2023 And SPG & SSG Advisers Attend The “Leave Your Mark: Developing Aspiring Leaders for A Resilient And Empowered Student Government”

June 8, 2022, the Division Federated Supreme Student Government (DFSSG) under the Youth Formation, spearheaded Leadership Training at Gabaldon Hall of Biñan Elementary School. This event aims to provide steps in crafting a project/activity proposal, school memorandum, activity evaluation, completion report, resolution, and minutes of the meeting. Participants are the SPG and SSG Advisers, DFSSG Officers, and aspiring student leaders for School Year 2022-2023.

The lectures were facilitated by notable resource speakers namely Mr. Mc Larnel A. Aliruran, Youth Development Officer II of Youth and Sports Development Office (YASDO), who focused on the importance of building impactful and sustainable partnerships for student government; Ms. Mary Joy L. Cabiles, Senior Education Program Specialist of the Human Resource and Development, discussed the crafting of a project/activity proposal and completion report; Mr. Ferdinand R. Arbo, Education Program Specialist II of the School Management Monitoring and Evaluation, talk through the monitoring and evaluation planning; Ms. Eva Joyce V. Cabantog, Education Program Specialist II of the Social Mobilization and Networking, tackled the minutes of the meeting and school memorandum; and Ms. Arcelyne Grace K. Elegado, SSG adviser of Jacobo Z. Gonzales Memorial National High School, taught the attendees on how to write a resolution paper.

Furthermore, the committee prepared a team-building activity for student leaders which intended to establish camaraderie among the student leaders. It ended with a simple awarding and photo session with the guest speakers, DFSSG Committee, and participants of each school.
